Terms and conditions

By booking PH Engineering to carry out both repair/maintenance work, as well as PAT Testing, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

AGREEMENT WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking PH Engineering shall mean that a. You agree with the price and details of the quote that you received and b. You agree to the terms and conditions below. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time, and therefore it is recommended that you print out a copy of these terms and conditions as proof of what was applicable at the time of booking your appointment.​

All Portable Appliance Testing will be carried out in accordance with IET Code of practice.

All technicians are fully competent in the Portable Appliance Testing they carry out, which ensures correct testing on all items and equipment made available to us on the day of the appointment.

The equipment we use is battery operated and can not cause damage to equipment (including IT equipment).

We will not be made liable for items that have been correctly tested, but are found to have a fault during testing or after.

No liability is accepted for business interruption, loss of data or business information, losses to business related services or loss to business profits.

PH Engineering accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage to appliances that are found to be faulty before or after PAT Testing or repair/maintenance work. 

The customer shall ensure that any critical information or data has been protected/backed up prior to the start of inspection and testing.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are 7 days from job completion date. This can be settled by, cash or BACS Payment.

If clients have longer payment structures, please discuss with us prior to the scheduled work being carried out. Overdue payments for the service we offer will incur extra charges if not received within the payment terms agreed, these are in line with government regulations.
